When I was nursing my daughter, I had to avoid dairy and gluten in my diet for over a month. It was absolutely eye opening how many typical food choices have these ingredients! I had trouble finding menu choices at most restaurants that fit my requirements. My favorite restaurants during that time were Clean Eatz and Crazy Bowls and Wraps. Recently, I am seeing more places create options for individuals with these diet needs. Plus, I have seen more vegan and vegetarian options as well.
