Gym Rentals for Nerf Parties or Skate Parties: They have a birthday party price of $75 that includes cafeteria and gym for 6 hours. They supply the fort equipment. The set up and take down is the responsibility of the renter. $25 deposit required.
Weinheimer Community Center (Highland)
Meeting rooms and gymnasium are for a two-hour time block. Resident rates: Gymnasium $75 or Large Room & Gymnasium $85. Non-Resident rates: Gymnasium $100 or Large Room & Gymnasium $110. A $25 security deposit (check only) is required to reserve the rooms.

$150 Discovery Town Playground Facility Rental:. 3 hour party for a limit of 20 children. The playground area is intended for walking toddlers through 10 years old, under the supervision of adults. All children must have an adult present at all times. Church membership is not a requirement to rent or use the playground. The Terms of Agreement as well as payment must be submitted before your party can be confirmed. A playground attendant will then be hired to monitor the facilities and ensure the success of your event. Socks must be worn to play on the equipment. DISCOVERY TOWN SQUARE (Preschool Community Room) will have nine 8 ft. rectangular tables. Six tables for guest seating, with eight chairs per table (Additional chairs are available). Two tables for refreshments. One table for gifts.
HOURS OF OPERATION FOR PARTIES: FRIDAY :5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. SATURDAY: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Parties are scheduled based on availability. Times include set up and tear down. You will not have access to the playground until the beginning of your booked time slot. There are no kitchen facilities available. The Square will be available for food and drinks during your scheduled party time. No food or drinks will be allowed in the playground area.
HOW TO SCHEDULE A PARTY: You can see available dates on their website. Complete the online Playground Rental form to schedule a party. All fields must be completed. Submission of this form states that you agree with the Terms of Agreement. Payment is due at the time of reservation. Your reservation will not be confirmed without payment. Once your Playground Rental form along with payment is received, you will receive an email receipt of your payment AND an email confirmation showing the details of your reservation. Party Packages are available during facility normal operating hours. Several packages available with options of pizza, hot dogs, and/or an ice cream cake with member prices ranging from $110 to $140 and non-member prices ranging from $150 to $180 for 15 people with an option to pay for additional guests.
All Party Packages Include:
- An hour and a half in the party room, facility time is not limited.
- Utensils such as paper plates, forks, napkins, and cups are provided
- A staff member will be available to help set up, deliver the food, sweep after the party, and to answer any questions. Renters are responsible for clearing all the tables and placing trash in the trash cans.
- Daily admission for up to 15 people, additional guests may be added at a rate of $6 for full facility use guests or $2 for party room only guests.

They can do painting, clay projects, drawings, crafts, etc. Some examples they have done in the past: paintings of a cupcake, comic style drawings of the child’s favorite character, and a space themed party that involved making spaceships out of clay and watercolor galaxy paintings. The price of the party includes all the art supplies needed for the project and assistance from an instructor. The price of the party does not include drinks, food, cake, or decorations.

The Macoupin Art Collective (Staunton)
Parties run $20-25/kiddo. This price includes an instructed art activity (1-1.5 hours) and also allows for time for the party to open presents and have cake(1 hour). For most clay and stained glass activities, it is $22/kiddo. For metals and clay wheel throwing classes, they charge $25/kiddo. The total time in the studio will be no more than 3 hours. They can offer your kiddo most ANY type of art party. There are several examples of activities listed on the link. They will need to check times and days as they have schedules planned out 6 months in advance. You can come in (1/2 hour) before your party time to decorate or set up. They need a minimum of 7 students in order to book a party. You can schedule the party through the link above.
Movie Theater Options
Lori Theater (Highland)
$200 Birthday Party Package: Up to 25 people can watch any movie available on blu-ray that you provide. Parties can take place on a Saturday or Sunday morning from 9am until 11 or 11:30am. Guests will receive a small popcorn and small drink. It is $7 per person over the initial 25. You can bring in cake, gifts, and decorations.
AMC Theater (Edwardsville)

Price varies from $199 to $299 based off of which day of the week you choose from. Rental is for up to 20 people. You can choose a movie from their collection. They do not allow outside food or decorations. They auditorium will be ready for your party 15 minutes prior to showtime. For an additional fee, you can add a party pack to save on snacks for large groups. If you have a party with more than 20 people, there are different rental options.
