The Collinsville Aqua Park (formerly known as Splash City) is under the operation of the City of Collinsville/Collinsville Parks and Recreation Department. The season runs Memorial Day weekend (Saturday, May 27th) through Labor Day each year. Hours: 12pm-7pm Daily. Season Pass holders enter at 11am. Weekends only: August 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 26th, and 27th.

There are many water attractions such as 7 slides, monsoon mountain for older children (slides, many small buckets, and one large bucket), lazy river, leisure pool (zero depth entry to 4.5 feet), water fortress play area for small children, and a lap pool (9ft deep) with an aqua climb wall.

Daily Pass Rates for City Residents: Adult-$16, Child-$14, and Senior $14. Daily Pass Rates for Non-Residents: Adults-$24, Child-$19, Senior $19. These prices are valid until July 3rd. There are also season pass options. The best time to buy season passes is on Black Friday when they have a sale. If you are a resident of Collinsville and have a library card, you can check out free passes to try the park out.

There are several rules regarding life jacket use, acceptable swimwear, behavior at the pools, food, etc. See full list here. You can eat your own food outside on picnic tables or eat food for sale in the park. The concession stand has beverages, pizza, pretzels, nachos, fries, toasted ravioli, chicken tenders, hot dogs, burgers, ice cream, salad, and a deli sandwich. Snack options include granola bars, candy, cookies, chips, lunchables, uncrustables, and more!

 

Highland Community Pool

Nice Outdoor Pool in Highland! 2023 Season starts May 27th. Typical Pool Hours: Monday 1-5:30pm, Tuesday 1-8:30pm, Wednesday 1-5:30pm, Thursday 1-8:30pm, Friday 1-8:30pm, Saturday & Sunday 1-5:30pm. The pool will be closed July 25th-30th due to the Madison County Fair.

The Pool is L-shaped with a shallow end (3-5ft) and a 12ft deep end. The deep end has a meter diving board and a rock climbing wall.

Typical Daily Rates (these have not been confirmed for 2023): Youth (3-17): $3.00, Adult (18-59) $4.00, Senior (60+) $2.00. Under 3 years old is free. See website for season pass prices for residents and non-residents. If you have a Latzar library card (Highland Library), up to 4 family members of your household may check out a Highland City Pool pass for one week. The concession stand area is supposed to have water, soda, popcorn, snow cones, and ice cream snacks.

Recreation Center with an awesome indoor pool! *Pool Schedule is different than building hours. Open Swim (when school is not in session) is Monday – Friday 1pm-8:30pm, Saturday 12pm-5:30pm, Sunday 12pm-4:30pm.

The Indoor Pool Area has two lanes for lap swimming. I believe the deepest part of the pool is 4 feet. There is a small lazy river set up with a “tornado” portion in the middle. One large water slide is available for individuals who can swim without a life jacket and are at least 48 inches tall. The toddler swim area (for ages 8 and under) includes one small water slide and several spraying apparatuses. There is also a hot tub for people over 16 years old. Lifeguards are present. There are family changing rooms and restrooms. 

It is open for members and non-members. Building Hours: Monday-Friday 5am-9pm, Saturday 7am-6pm, Sunday 9am-5pm. Group Fitness classes include: Boot Camp, Zumba, Senior Cycle & Strength, Aquarobics, Pop Up Barre, and More! See website for class pricing. For residents to swim, it is $6 for children and $7.00 for adults ($6 for ages 60+). For non-residents to swim, it is $7.50 per child and $8.50 per adult ($7.50 for ages 60+). Toddler Time is every Friday from 10:30-11:30am. It is $1.00 off per child during toddler time. There is a small concession area near the indoor pool.
