Saturday, August 14th 8am-12pm: The Land of Goshen Community Market in Edwardsville.
Saturday, August 14th 8am-12pm: Alton Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market. It takes place in the parking lot at the corner of Landmarks Blvd. & Henry Street. There is a selection of locally-grown seasonal fruits and vegetables, flowers, potted plants, grass-fed meat, local honey, bread, other baked goods, hot and iced coffee, fresh farm eggs, handmade soap, and hand-crafted artwork.
Saturday, August 14th at 10am: Back to School Water Bash at New Douglas Township Park. Water Shooters, Slip n Slide Wiffle Ball, Water Balloons, and Team Water Games. There will also be a guest speaker. Each child will have lunch provided to them. A parent or guardian must attend with your child. $5.00 per child will cover the cost of supplies and water shooters. Saturday, August 14th at 11am: Free Comic Book Day 2021 at Otherside Games in Edwardsville.
**SOLD OUT FOR THIS SATURDAY**Saturday, August 14th 11:30am-1pm or 1 to 2pm: Free Kids Art Classes at the Edwardsville Arts Center. You must register online.
Saturday, August 14th at 7pm: St. Louis Shakespeare – Othello in Edwardsville City Park. Free Admission.
Saturday, August 14th and Sunday, August 15th 10am-5pm: Vendor Fair at Rinkel Pumpkin Farm. All vendor types are welcome. Admission for the event will be a non-perishable food item or monetary donation to the Glen-Ed Food Pantry to support the community.
Sunday, August 15th at 8am: 29th Annual Edwardsville Police DARE Car Show. There will be cars, trucks, motorcycles, and tractors. There will be a kids area with fun and games.
