Edwardsville Public Library

  • The Reading Colors Your World Summer Reading Challenge on Beanstack (May 24th-July 31st). You can download the app or go to the library website to sign up. Read 10 books/ log them on Beanstack to win a free book and an entry to the Grand Prize Drawing. Tri-Township Public Library

  • Summer Reading – Tails & Tales Kick-off Party in the Park: Saturday, June 5th 9am-12pm at Tri-Township Park. Marko Polo will be there under pavilion #2 performing silly and animal themed songs from 9-10am. Snowy Sweets ice cream truck will be providing traditional ice cream for breakfast for anyone who is registered for the Beanstack reading program.

Collinsville Memorial Library Center

  • Summer Reading Program begins Tuesday, June 1st. There are challenge logs for kids, teens, and adults. Kids are asked to read 600 minutes. Teens and adults are asked to checkout any ten items. Completed logs are due by July 31st and are entered into prize drawings for gift cards. Kids and teens receive fun bags of goodies upon registering. The Youth Checkout Challenge comes with a bag of cool items, including an MCT Summer Youth Pass. The Pass lets you ride MCT transit for free all summer. The Kids Summer Reading Program comes with a bag of toys and materials. The first 100 adults will receive a coupon for two free tacos at Bert’s Chuckwagon.   • Summer Reading Challenge 2021: Reading Colors Your World. Register in person at either library location, through the Beanstack Tracker App, or online at https://smrld.beanstack.com/.

Roxana Public Library

  • Summer Reading Program with Prize Drawing. Participants must be 14 years of age or older (Age 13 and under will participate in kids SRP). All books must be checked out from Roxana Public Library or one of their online resources. One book = one entry. Books entries must be turned in by Saturday, July 31st. They will draw for prizes Monday, August 2nd. Grand Prize for Adults is $50 Gift Card, 2nd Prize is $30 Gift Card, and 3rd Prize is $20 Gift Card. See Roxana Library Facebook Page for details.

Wood River Public Library

  • Summer Reading Challenge on Beanstack: Reading Colors Your World. PreK = 40 book goal, K thru 5 = 6 book goal, Young Adults = 4 book goal plus 1 review, and Adults = 4 book goal plus 1 review. Each book read earns a ticket to the raffle. Extra tickets available to earn by completing activities. Each participant who finishes the challenge also receives an entry into the Grand Prize drawing of a Kindle Fire and an invite to the Finale Pool Party. www.woodriverlibrary.beanstack.org
  • Summer Reading Kick Off Party: Saturday, June 5th 11am-1pm. Party in the parking lot with food, games, crafts, and prizes. You can also register for summer reading. Everyone is welcome!
