This thrift store usually sells a variety of gently used items including home decor, clothes for all ages, toys, games, books, and shoes. Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, & Saturday 9am-noon, Thursdays 10am-noon, and Tuesday evenings 5-7pm. The money earned is used to help residents with rent/utilities or is put towards items needed for the food pantry. $2 for a grocery bag full of items of your choice and $5 for a trash bag full of items of your choice on certain days – see the Maryville Outreach Center facebook page for more information.

Well known place to look for pre-owned clothing, furniture, home decor, housewares, shoes, jewelry, and more! Hours: Monday-Saturday 10am-8pm. Sunday 10am-6pm. Best Time to Shop: Possibly 75% off certain colored tags on Fridays and Saturdays.
Restore Decor
111 N 2nd Street & 223 N. Main Street
Edwardsville, IL
Non-profit resale shop for furniture and home accessories. Hours: Two Saturdays a month 10am-1pm. All net proceeds from sales go directly to help families and groups in the community. Check out the Restor Decor facebook page on Friday evenings to get a sneak peak of what items will be for sale Saturday morning.

If you have small children, this is a great place to shop for quality, gently used items. You will find children’s clothing (sizes 0-10/12), shoes, toys, equipment, bows, dance gear, cleats, and more! Hours: Tuesday- Saturday 10am-4pm. Best Deal: They announce on facebook when they have dollar racks or have marked down seasonal items.

Wonderful selection of women’s, men’s, and kids’ clothing! They also have a small amount of toys, books, shoes, and home decor. Hours: Wednesdays 11am-5pm, Thursdays 11am-5pm, Friday 11am-4pm, and Saturday 10am-2pm. Be aware that hours may change week to week. Changes to hours are posted on the Sweet Threads on Market facebook page. Best Deal: Seasonal Sales and $1 racks posted on their facebook page. Also, if you provide your email, you will receive coupons. Sometimes coupons are posted on their facebook page.

Gently Used Women’s Clothing Store with Trendy Shirts, Pants, Dresses, Lounge Wear, Shoes, and Accessories. Popular brands can be found here. Hours: Tuesday-Friday 12pm-5pm, Saturday 11am-3pm. Best Deal: They usually have sale racks when first entering the store.

They sell gently used items such as fashion jewelry, women’s clothing (tops, shirts, dresses), men’s athletic pullovers/polos, purses, scarves, belts, shoes, children’s toys/clothing, bedding sets, throw pillows, wall art, and household appliances. Hours: Monday thru Friday 9am to 3pm. Every dollar raised helps provide services for local seniors and adults with disabilities. Seasonal items are currently on sale for $1-$4 each.
Glen Ed Food Pantry: Second Chance

They have a year-round thrift store on the second floor of the pantry called Second Chance. It is open to the public. Clothing and Houseware items are for sale. Open Thursday and Friday 1-5pm, Saturday 8am-4pm. www.glenedpantry.org.

They sell clothing for women, men, and children as well as accessories such as purses. They also have books, decor, and small household items. Hours: Monday-Saturday 9:30-5:30pm.

2nd Chance Resale Shop

They advertise selling clothes for all ages and household items. Hours: Thursday -Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 9am-2pm. They communicate sales on their facebook page such as 10 items for $1 or $5 bag sales.
