Liberty Apple Orchard

A family owned U-pick apple orchard with several varieties of apples for picking. Hours: Tuesday-Friday 3-5pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 12-4:30pm. Free admission/parking. The only cost is for the apples themselves or other items they have for sale. They have 11 varieties of apples available including Enterprise, Goldrush, Braeburn, Granny Smith, Candycrisp. In addition, they sometimes have items such as apple cider, cider donuts,slushies, gourmet popcorn, homemade apple pies, fudge, apple butter, applesauce, conserves, salsa, baking mixes, photo note cards, Liberty Apple Orchard mugs, adult and child apron, local honey from hives on the orchard, and a cooking corner. The owners have hosted tours for schools in the area and make an effort to teach little ones about apples/farm life.

Mills Apple Farm

With over 30 years in business, this family farm has a lot to offer. Apple varieties currently available for picking include Braeburn, Jonathans, and Granny Smith. Apples are priced by the bag. Small bags are $8 for a half peck bag (holds 5-6lbs) with larger bags available. They hope to have pies on weekends. The parking, play area, and the wagon ride to apples/pumpkins are free. The child friendly area has animals to feed, swings, a 3 floor wire maze, glider swings, and space to run. Hours: Saturdays and Sundays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The tractor only runs on weekends, with the last load heading out about 4 p.m.

This farm has many attractions including farm animals, hill slide, duck races, spider web, bounce pillow, trike track, barrel train, small zip line, lookout tower, pumpkin cannon, corn maze and basketball/football/baseball throwing area. You can select pumpkins in the barn or take a wagon ride to pre-cut pumpkins in a field. Their pumpkin patch is now open for you to pick from the vine. They have fall treats and snacks as well as ice cream for sale. New feature this year is the beer and wine garden. Fall Festival: Weekends September 24th – October 30th. Saturdays and Sundays 10am-5pm. If you purchase online, tickets are $13.95 per person instead of $17.95 per person that you would pay at the gate. Group Rate 20+ is $11.95/person. Children 2 and under are free. October 29th and 30th: They will have live music, face painting, and special treats for sale.

Rinkel Pumpkin Farm

It’s a small family owned U-pick patch that has a variety of fall favorites such as pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks, mums, and straw. Activities include: corn maze, straw maze, u-pick patch, petting zoo, basketball play areas, duck races, slide tower, corn pit, and tractor slide. Barrel Train rides are $2 extra per ride. They have a variety of pre-picked pumpkins that are different sizes and colors. Pumpkin Season started September 24th. Hours: Friday and Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 11am-5pm. Admission is $6 per person. Children 3 years old and under are free. They offer a great deal for a family pass. The family pass option involves EACH PERSON in your family paying a one time fee of $20 in order to be able to come play at Rinkel Farm as many times as you want! They accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. Cards will have a 3% processing free from the credit card companies. Pumpkins range is price from $1 to $40 with the average pumpkin being $5 to $8. They have apple cider slushies as well as other snacks/drinks you can purchase on site.

This family business is known for having a TON of fall activities to experience! They have rides, activities, food, pumpkins, and fall decor. You can pick your own pumpkins by walking to one of the two “pick your own” pumpkin patches. There are typically activities such as a jungle maze (3 tickets), hay rides (3 tickets), farm animals (goat feeding 1 cone is 1 ticket), pumpkin painting (4 tickets), pyramid slide (3 tickets), Korny Korral (3 tickets), Sand art (2-5 tickets), Haunted maze course (2 tickets), pony rides (6 tickets), spider town (3 tickets), pyramid slide (3 tickets), barrel train rides (3 tickets), giant slide (2 tickets), spin the pumpkin (3 tickets), mini wheel (3 tickets), crying chicken roller coaster (3 tickets), train (2 tickets), swing (3 tickets), pirate revenge boat (3 tickets), bouncy houses (2 tickets), sling shot (2 tickets), straw maze (3 tickets) and camel rides (6 tickets). Each ticket is $1.00. Admission and parking are free but the activities listed require a certain number of tickets. Pumpkin Sales started September 19th. Soft Opening Weekend: September 24th and 25th (not all activities will be ready). Full Opening Weekend: October 1st and 2nd. Hours: Daily 10am to 5pm, Farm & Counter Sales Open till 6pm. A festival takes place each weekend with multiple vendors participating. Ride ticket sales stop at 5:30pm. Detailed Directions about how to get there are located on their website. Vendor Fair will take place Sunday, October 30th 10am-5pm. Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkin Sale – Buy one and get one free (equal or lesser value).

Demange Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

Home of the Area’s Largest Corn Maze (20+ Acre). Pick your own Pumpkin Patch. They have one large and one small corn maze, large corn pit with hay fort, hay rides, and bonfires. Drinks and Snacks Available. Season started September 17th. Hours can vary so check their social media for the most up-to-date information. Typical Hours: Saturday and Sunday 11am to 5pm. No admission to pick pumpkins. Admission is $5 during the day for all activities. Ages 3 and under are free. Glow Maze Events on certain Saturdays at 7pm. $10 admission fee for after dark events. Flat Rate Pricing for Pumpkins. They also have mums, straw bales, and Indian corn for sale. Cash or Cards Accepted.

Heritage Farm and Fruit Trees

Heritage Farm and Fruit Trees is a family owned business who sell variety of fruit trees. They have a pick-your-own pumpkin patch and apple picking. There is also a kids play area mainly geared for little kids. The play area has a corn maze, hopper ball track, pumpkin bowling, sling shot, tire jumper, tractor peddle cars, kids slide and climber, corn crib, and Mr. Pumpkin Head.  If you are just coming to pick pumpkins, there is no entry fee. The kids activity zone is $6 per child and free for kids under age of one. On their facebook, they also post when a food truck will be there and when donkeys will be there to ride. Opening Day was September 17th. Hours: Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm. No hours for Columbus Day have been announced. Pumpkin Pricing: $.59 per pound. Apple Pricing: $1.99 per pound. Food/Drink items for sale include: Apple Cider, Popcorn, Cookies, Cake Pops, and Fresh Candy Apple Bar. New on the Farm This Year: Pumpkin Decorating ($8), Pumpkin Smashing ($3 per pumpkin), and Pumpkin Slingshot ($1 per pumpkin). There will be no pick-your-own apples the weekend of October 28th-30th.

The Great Godfrey Maze

Circus themed maze with wagon rides and a cow train. It started September 16th and will end October 29th. Friday evenings 6-10pm and Saturdays 11am-10pm.
