This information is organized by day/time that way if you are looking for an activity last minute you can find your options easier. If there was a facebook event/library calendar created for the activity, I linked it in purple. Please make sure you select the exact date you are wanting when you go to the event page.

         Activities on Certain Tuesdays:

Wednesday:

  • Toddler Time at Mac’s Family Fun Time (Highland): Wednesdays 9am-11:30am and 12-2:30pm. Toddler Time is intended for children 6 and under with a parent/caregiver. Admission to toddler time includes a playground pass, 2 snacks, 1 drink, and 1 mini cone. Grown-ups can add a fountain drink and a dish of custard for themselves for $5. Each week they will have a variety of snacks and drinks to choose from. Information found on the Mac’s Family Fun Time facebook page. Admission: $15/ single visit or $40 for the whole session (9/6, 9/13, 9/20, & 9/27). 
  • Tot Skate at Edwardsville YMCA: Wednesdays 9:30-11:30am. Designed for children 5 and under and their parents to socialize and have fun! Parents can walk or push strollers. Kids can skate and bring their favorite push toys or riding toys. Two wheeled bikes are allowed only with training wheels. Event only takes place when school is in session. FREE for members and nonmembers. FREE skate rental.
  • Toddler Open Play at Prima Dance & Tumbling (Edwardsville):
    Wednesdays from 9:30am to 11am. Bounce House, Roller Coaster, Trampoline, Balance Beam, balls, and a climber with a slide. $7/Child. Pre-registration recommended.
  • Children’s Baby Boogie (Collinsville Library): Wednesdays at 10am. FREE.
  • Family Story Time at Edwardsville Public Library: Wednesdays, January 24th- March 27th weekly at 6:30pm. All ages welcome. FREE.

        Activities on Certain Wednesdays:

  • Momentum Lactation Mom Life Meet Ups (Edwardsville): Third Wednesday of each month. 9:30-10:30am. If you are a new mom in need of some support, great conversation, new mom friends, or just the opportunity to go to the bathroom without being interrupted, this event can help. Free to attend and free weight check.
  • Toddler Tales (Wood River Public Library): Once a month on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. (September – May) 10:00 to 10:30am. Join us each month for a story, craft, and activity with a central theme. No cost or registration. Best suited for children 18mo-3yr. FREE. 
  • Pokemon Hangout at Edwardsville Public Library: Wednesday, January 17th 4-5pm. Ages 7-12. Gather to practice your trading card game skills, try themed actvities, and more. FREE. Registration Required.
  • Time for Twos Storytime at Edwardsville Public Library: Wednesdays at 10am. Share stories, songs, & bubbles together with friends each week starting back Jan. 24th – March 27th. No registration required. FREE.

Friday:

  • WeeJam at Wood River Library: Every Friday at 9:30am for dancing, music, and bubbles. It is best for kids 5 and younger. Open to anyone. FREE.
  • Toddler Time (8 years and under) at Korte Rec Center in Highland: Fridays 10:30-11:30am. There is a play area with water slides. It is open for members and non-members. Reserve a spot online or call (618)651-1386. Members are Free and Non-Members $1 discount off daily admission. Non members with discount – Adults: $7.50 ($6.50 for ages 60+) and Youth: $6.50. Children 2 and under are FREE with a paying adult. 

Activities on Certain Fridays:

  • Moms Group at First Baptist Maryville: Moms typically meets the first and third Fridays of the month from 9am-11am. Session goes from September 15th to April 5th. Moms is a group for mothers of all ages, with children from birth to teenagers.  At Moms, you’ll find an encouraging atmosphere where we speak the truth in love, equip one another by studying God’s Word, and create community so that we are able to more effectively raise up our families for Jesus Christ. Registration is $80 total (split into two payments—one now and one in January) or $75 if you pay in full at this time. The registration fee includes your book, membership packet, activity supplies, special speakers, and children’s program supplies. The children’s program is provided by First Baptist Maryville Preschool Ministry (Discovery Town). Children may be dropped off starting at 8:45 a.m.
